Nestled just steps away from the playground, volleyball court, Outback, and adjacent to the pool, the Lower Clubhouse is a fantastic option for families and friends looking to host a baby shower, birthday celebration, or even a laid-back get-together.

📋 Self-Serve Rental Info

Edgewater is a self-serve facility, which means no staff will be onsite during your event. But don’t worry—we’ve made it simple with detailed diagrams and instructions. During your rental time, the building is yours to enjoy (and take care of). Please review and follow the guidelines below.


🎉 Ideal for Events Big and Small

  • Holds 40–50 people comfortably
  • Best suited for kiddie parties (babies through 5th grade), family functions, Baby/Bridal showers, or small professional huddles
  • Two picnic tables outside are available for food and drink service

While this facility does not have a kitchen, it’s still well-equipped for casual entertaining.


Important Event Reminders

  • Schedule a walkthrough: Contact AMAG or a board member at 678-407-1115
  • 📆 Double-check your reservation: Your Frontsteps calendar entry must match your contract to ensure access for guests
  • 💳 Test your access cardat least one day prior:
    • Contact AMAG by email to confirm functionality
    • If the card doesn’t work, you’ll receive backup code/card instructions

Rules & Reminders

  • No helium balloons or glitter allowed in the clubhouse (A cleaning fee will be applied for removal of glitter or balloons stuck to the ceiling)
  • No tape on the walls—it may damage paint (You will be charged for wall damage)
  • 📑 Re-read your rental contract at least 1 day before your event to be familiar with all rules and expectations
  • 🚭 No smoking anywhere in or around the facility
  • Use the Before Your Event and Day-of Checklist
  • Follow the End-of-Night Checklist to leave the clubhouse as you found it

Day-of Event Prep & Setup Tips

  • Start with a checklist:
    Write down everything you need to bring for your event so nothing gets left behind.
  • 🧰 Essentials to bring:
    • Trash bags, ice, bottle opener, corkscrew
    • Utensils, cake knife, oven mitts
    • Cleaning supplies, foil, food wrap, etc.
  • You may enter after 10:00 AM to begin setup
  • 🎵 All music must stop by 12:30 AM
  • 🕐 Events must end by 1:00 AM and cleanup must be completed by 2:00 AM
  • 🔐 Doors lock behind youkeep your access card with you at all times (You may unlock a side door for easier load-in/out)
  • 📸 Snap photos or video of the room and furniture layout upon arrival (Use this to reset the room during cleanup)
  • 🛒 Bringing big loads? A wagon or dolly can make setup and breakdown easier
  • 🌡️ Set thermostat for comfort, then return to: 74°F (Spring/Summer) or 65°F (Fall/Winter)
    (Take a photo as proof)
  • Need extra power? Use outlets marked with dots for DJ/equipment
  • 🏊‍♂️ Reminder: The pool is NOT included in your rental

The Lower Clubhouse is our only facility with 2 large TVs and a projector—perfect for:

  • Slideshow streaming
  • Huddle meetings with coworkers
  • Movie nights for kids or adults

AV System Setup:
Use the same setup instructions listed in the Lakeside Terrace Clubhouse for connecting your device. HDMI and wireless mirroring options are both available.


🪑 Furniture and Layout Options

We’ve stocked the space with a flexible variety of seating and tables to fit different types of events:

  • 6 leather lounge chairs
  • 4 ottomans
  • 20 event-style chairs & 100 folding chairs
  • 3 Folding round tables
  • 2 Folding long tables
  • 2 picnic tables inside
  • 1 large room, a private room, and 1 smaller interior room for added privacy or storage

Stack event chairs no more than 6 high, and please return everything to its original place.


🧽 Help Us Keep It Tidy

  • Be careful with spills—this room is carpeted
  • A vacuum, mop, broom, and cleaner are located near the men’s bathroom
  • Take photos of the setup before your event so you can leave the space exactly how you found it

🧊 Room Notes & Handy Reminders

  • No fans in this room—please set the AC to a reasonable temp and return it to 74°F before you leave
  • This is a self-serve rental, so there is no staff on-site
  • Use the “Before Your Event” and “Day-of Event” checklists
  • No smoking inside or on the nearby patio
  • Use the standard end-of-night checklist posted in the room


💍 Using the Lower Clubhouse as a Bridal Parlor?
Planning to get ready here before your big walk upstairs? We’ve got you covered—literally! For added privacy during prep time, we provide a folding partition you can place in front of the entrance. You’ll also find blue curtains in the storage room to cover the large windows and glass doors, creating a more private and cozy space for you and your bridal party. (If they’re not already out, feel free to set them up—just ask AMAG for details.)

Beauty Station Tips
To keep everything sparkling for the next guest:

  • Please lay down the provided tarp under chairs while applying makeup.
  • Cover tabletops before starting any makeup or hair prep.

These little steps help keep the space clean and elegant for all who use it.
