We’re thrilled you’ve chosen our Premier clubhouse for your special event. It’s the perfect place to celebrate, connect, and make memories that last a lifetime. Whether you’re hosting a birthday bash, shower, or just a good old-fashioned gathering, we’ve got the space—you bring the fun (and the food)!

You’re welcome to decorate and arrange the space to suit your style. The Upper Clubhouse features spacious prep areas, plenty of tables and chairs, clean restrooms, and a layout designed for good times.

📋 Self-Serve Rental Info

Edgewater clubhouses are self-serve facilities, which means no staff will be onsite during your event. But don’t worry—we’ve made it simple with detailed diagrams and instructions. During your rental time, the building is yours to enjoy (and take care of). Please review and follow the guidelines below. if you have any issues with the facilities during your event please contact our Emergency After-Hours Line: 404-587-4262 (Note: This number is not monitored during regular business hours.)

    Rules & Reminders
    ❌ No helium balloons or glitter allowed in the clubhouse
    (A cleaning fee will be applied for removal of glitter or balloons stuck to the ceiling)
    ❌ No tape on the walls—it may damage paint
    (You will be charged for wall damage)
    📑 Re-read your rental contract at least 1 day before your event to be familiar with all rules and expectations
    🚭 No smoking anywhere in the facility

🗓 Day of Your Event


Day-of Event Prep & Setup Tips
✅ Start with a checklist:
Write down everything you need to bring for your event so nothing gets left behind.
🧰 Essentials to bring:
Trash bags, ice, bottle opener, corkscrew
Utensils, cake knife, oven mitts
Cleaning supplies, foil, food wrap, etc.
⏰ You may enter after 10:00 AM to begin setup
🎵 All music must stop by 12:30 AM
🕐 Events must end by 1:00 AM and cleanup must be completed by 2:00 AM
🔐 Doors lock behind you—keep your access card with you at all times
(You may unlock a side door to ensure you do not get locked out. Trust me it has happend far to many times, just lock it back at the end of the night)
📸 Snap photos or video of the room and furniture layout upon arrival
(Use this to reset the room during cleanup)
🛒 Bringing big loads? A wagon or dolly can make setup and breakdown easier
🌡️ Set thermostat for comfort, then return to:
74°F (Spring/Summer) or 65°F (Fall/Winter)
(Take a photo as proof)
⚡ Need extra power? Use outlets marked with dots for DJ/equipment
🏊‍♂️ Reminder: The pool is NOT included in your rental

🎈 During the Event

  • Have fun—it’s your day!
  • Clean up spills right away. Mops, towels, and wet floor signs are in storage.
  • No smoking inside. Use the outdoor receptacle and fully extinguish cigarette butts.

🧹 End of the Night Checklist

  • Return all furniture to its original positions (use your arrival photos).
  • Sweep – use the big push broom to sweep entire clubhouse. (you do not need to mop)
  • Take all your belongings: decorations, gifts, kitchenware, etc.
  • Bag all trash and dispose of it in the dumpster near the tennis courts.
    Lock code: 1776
  • Final walkthrough: check bathrooms, compare photos, and ensure everything looks clean.
  • Avoid deposit deductions by not leaving behind balloons, confetti, trash, or leftover food.

🪑 Setting Up Tables & Chairs – Upper Clubhouse

  • Storage Room is to the right as you enter (across from the kitchen).
  • Round Tables (12 total): Store neatly in the table corral.
  • Long Tables: Lean upright against the wall next to the corral.
  • Chairs: Stack no more than 11 high. Place stacks in two or three rows near the windows (gently—no broken windows, please!).
  • Lectern: Store with broom/mop in the left corner.
  • Other Items: Neatly store around tables/chairs.

  • Fans: One click turns them on, another turns them off.
  • Lights: Labeled for your convenience.
  • Dumpster Access: Located to the right of the tennis courts at the end of the lot.
    Code: 1776 – Slide the lever back to open the bar.

Instructions

🔥 Fireplace Use (Add-On Feature)

The fireplace is available only if added to your rental. To use it:

  1. Use the supplied Fireplace Key and insert it into the keyed gas release receptacle on the fireplace.
  2. Turn the key to the right to release the gas.
  3. Within seconds, carefully hold a lit match or lighter over the gas starters under the logs to ignite the flame.
    🚨 Important: Always ensure the gas is completely shut off after use.

🍽️ Oven Instructions

  1. Open the oven door slightly. The control menu will illuminate.
  2. Press “BAKE”.
  3. Use the number pad to enter your preferred temperature.

🗑️ Dumpster Lock Access

  • The dumpster lock code is 1776.
  • Once unlocked, move the locking latch toward you, then pull the locking bar toward you to release the top lids.
  • This will give you full access to open and use the dumpster tops.

Accessibility & Special Access Info

  • ♿ Handicapped Access Ramps:
    • Upper Clubhouse: Ramp located at the end of the semi-circular driveway, near the bicycle rack in front of the main pool entrance.
    • Lower Clubhouse: Ramp available behind the tennis courts parking lot next to the dumpster.
    • Lakeside Terrace uses the Boat Ramp Access: Use the pylon lock—Code: 1259
  • 🚽 Restroom Access:
    • All clubhouses are equipped with handicap-accessible bathroom stalls for your convenience.
  • 🚗 Designated Parking:
    • 2 accessible spots near the dumpster
    • 2 accessible spots near the boat ramp
